The Self-Buying Household Appliances Have Arrived to Europe

August 29th, 2019

LG Electronics will unveil a revolutionary invention in the European market at the 2019 IFA Exhibition. ThinQ household appliances include Amazon's online shopping service, the Dash Replenishment (ADR).

LG has invented artificial intelligence for its latest home appliances, which can use ADR to bring home consumable detergents through Amazon, offering the convenience of a smart home. LG's artificially intelligent machines will be available first in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The user can control the ADR services through the LG ThinQ application using his / her Amazon account. LG's smart devices will automatically send a notification when the detergent drops below a preset level, so the new dose will be delivered on time, making sure it is always there. But Amazon's automated system has even more to offer, and LG ThinQ will soon be available in refrigerators and air purifiers.

LG smart home appliances will be launched in Europe after their successful launch in the United States. In addition to Amazon, LG will be working with Google and Yandex in the future to bring more convenience to their users.

"We are excited about the launch of our ThinQ product line with Amazon Dash Replenishment at the 2019 IFA Exhibition," said Song Dae-hyun, President, CEO of Home Appliances and Air Conditioning at LG Electronics. “Combining our best-in-class products and value-added services remains LG's strategic priority. With smart homes built in this way, shoppers have to spend less time on housework, leaving more time for what they really want to do.”

The models will be on display at the LG booth at Messe Berlin Hall 18, September 6-11, at IFA 2019. The # LGIFA2019 hashtag lets you keep track of the events.
